In this New Vehicle Weekly Trade Activity report, we take our data set and hone in on the most popular vehicles traded, down to the trim level, over the past week among America’s Top 25 Largest Auto Groups.
RAM units were traded the most, making up 61% of all new vehicle, dealer-to-dealer trades across the country.
This week, the state of Utah moved the most units out of state. While, the state of Georgia brought the most units into their state from other states.

The RAM 2500 Pickup, Tradesman trim level was the most traded unit this week. We’re showing that there is now a 32 days supply of RAM 2500 Pickups, nationally, and 3,609 units on the ground at this trim level. This is up +17% from last month.
12% of these units are in the state of Texas.
2022 RAM 1500 Pickup – Laramie
The RAM 1500 Pickup, Laramie trim level was the second most traded unit this week. We’re showing that there is now a 69 days supply of RAM 1500 Pickups, nationally, and 3,461 units on the ground at this trim level. This is up +3% from last month.
13% of these units are in the state of Florida.
2022 Nissan Altima – SV
The Nissan Altima, SV trim level was the third most traded unit this week. We’re showing that there is now a 38 days supply of Nissan Altimas, nationally, and 4,113 units on the ground at this trim level. This is down -6% from last month.
