In this New Vehicle Weekly Trade Activity report, we take our data set and hone in on the most popular vehicles traded, down to the trim level, over the past week among America’s Top 25 Largest Auto Groups.
Toyota units were traded the most, making up 15% of all new vehicle, dealer-to-dealer trades across the country.
This week, the state of Texas shipped the most units out of state, while California had the most units coming in from other states.

2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer – LT
The Chevrolet Trailblazer, LT trim level was the most traded unit this week. We’re showing that there is now a 43 days supply of Chevrolet Trailblazer, nationally, and 2,111 units on the ground at this trim level. This is up +53% from last month.
8% of these units are in the state of Michigan.
2022 Honda HR-V – EX
The Honda HR-V, EX trim level was the most traded unit this week. We’re showing that there is now a 40 days supply of Honda HR-V, nationally, and 5,768 units on the ground at this trim level. This is up +19% from last month.
30% of these units are in the state of California.
2022 Subaru Outback – Premium
The Subaru Outback, Premium trim level rounds out our list of most traded units this week. We’re showing that there is now a 36 days supply of Subaru Outback, nationally, and 2,963 units on the ground at this trim level. This is up +18% from last month.
9% of these units are in the state of New York.
