In this New Vehicle Weekly Trade Activity report, we take our data set and hone in on the most popular vehicles traded, down to the trim level, over the past week among America’s Top 25 Largest Auto Groups.

Chevrolet units were traded the most, making up 38% of all new vehicle, dealer-to-dealer trades across the country.

This week, Arizona and Texas moved the most new vehicles out of their respective states, while California and Washington brought the most new vehicle inventory into their states.

2022 Chevrolet Colorado – z71

The Chevrolet Colorado, z71 trim level was the most traded unit this week. We’re showing that there is a 23 days supply of Chevy Colorados, nationally, and 1,145 units on the ground at this trim level. This is down -24% from last month.

9% of these units are in Texas.

2022 Cadillac XT6 – Premium Luxury

The Cadillac XT6, Premium Luxury trim level was the second most traded unit this week. We’re showing that there is a 78 days supply of Cadillac XT6s, nationally, and 1,327 units on the ground at this trim level. This is up 28% from last month.

14% of these units are in Michigan.

2022 Land Rover Defender – X

The Land Rover Defender X trim level was the third most traded unit this week. We’re showing that there is a 46 days supply of Land Rover Defenders, nationally, and 73 units on the ground at this trim level. This is up 92% from last month.

23% of these units are in California.
