Continuing our State/ Class Highlight feature on New York, it’s time to talk about sedans. Somewhat surprisingly (well, to this blogger), is the comparatively low number of sedans purchased and in stock in New York.

Topping our list today is, no surprise, the Toyota Camry, the highest selling sedan in NY for the past 30 days, although it only barely made the Top 10 selling vehicle list for New York. 813 of these units have sold in the last month, with only 346 units still available in NY.

Next on the list is the Kia Forte. This model has sold 749 units in NY in the past 30 days, with only 395 units still available for purchase.

The Hyundai Elantra comes in 3rd on the list this month, with 664 units sold and 1042 units remaining on dealership lots. This represents the highest days supply on this list.

Rounding out the list is the Nissan Altima. This model has sold 441 units in NY in the past 30 days. There are 432 units currently available.

Total Sedans (from this list) purchased in New York in the past 30 days: 2,667.

Total Sedans (from this list) still in inventory in New York: 2,215

We look at data from the past 30 days to give us a snapshot of inventory and sales numbers. This lets us focus in on a specific location to get an idea of what is selling right now, and also what kind of inventory is currently on the market.
