As we saw in the last post, New York’s top selling model for the past 30 days was the Ford F-150. As surprising as this may seem to some (non-New Yorkers), it shows that trucks are a big part of life in New York State.
We look at data from the past 30 days to give us a snapshot of inventory and sales numbers. This lets us focus in on a specific location to get an idea of what is selling right now, and also what kind of inventory is currently on the market.
In New York, the Ford F-150 is the sales leader for trucks in its class for the past 30 days. 1,935 Ford F-150 trucks have sold in the last month, a slight margin over the second-highest seller. Currently, there are 404 F-150s still on the market.
The second-highest seller in the past 30 days is the Toyota Tacoma. The Tacoma was a distant second to the Ford F-150, selling 757 units in the past month. There are currently 542 units in inventory in New York.
Next up is the RAM 1500 Pickup. New York has sold 672 units in the past 30 days, and still has 2,078 units of inventory available in the state. With so much inventory, the RAM 1500 could easily overtake the Ford F-150 to become the 2nd highest seller in New York.
The Chevy Silverado is next on the list, having sold 644 units in the past month. There are still 1,673 units in inventory in New York.
The Toyota Tundra rounds out the list, with 360 units having sold in the past month. There are currently 265 units available for purchase in the state of New York.
In total, 4,368 trucks from this list have sold in the past 30 days in New York, and there are still 4,962 units of inventory available.
